Our Awards and Rewards 

Listening to our children and understanding what they think, feel and care about is fundamental to our ethos. All the children were asked what values shape our school and from this work we created our V² award where our vision and values meet. Our weekly award is given out in our Celebration Assembly on Fridays. Children receive certificates for upholding our values, such as honesty, curiosity, politeness or friendship. 

We celebrate children whose behaviour and efforts go above and beyond the expected standard of Ready, Respectful, Safe with a special 'Above and Beyond' certificate and message home. These are given to the children by the class teacher during the school day. 

Finally, for outstanding behaviour and effort over a period of time, children can be nominated by their teachers to enjoy a Hot Chocolate Friday with Mrs Carter in her office.
