Buxton Junior School

Learning at Home

In the unlikely event of a school closure, on the second day we will set remote learning. Often, on the first day teachers will contact parents/carers via Parenthub with some suggested tasks. After that, year groups set work via Google Classroom, where online lessons and other activities are shared. If you have any issues accessing your child's Google Classroom account, please contact their class teacher via the class email accounts.

If you have finished your homework or home learning and want a few ideas of what else to do, here are some links to activities and resources that are suitable for all ages in the school. We will update them when we find new things that we think will be useful to help parents and carers with home learning activities.

Please be aware that while all the resources here are aimed at children in the junior school age range, staff are unable to check the content of anything that is live streamed. School recommends that parental supervision is required.
