Hello, my name is Frances Herridge (although most people call me Fred) and I am the LA Governor for the school.

My working background is within the NHS, where I worked as an Occupational Therapist in Sheffield. I left the NHS three years ago, and now work for Age UK in Derby and Derbyshire.

Although originally from the south, my love of the hills prompted me to move up to the area over 35 years ago! I have one son, who is now grown up.

I enjoy cycling, walking and volunteering as a member of a local Mountain Rescue Team.

As a member of the Governing Body I really enjoy working with the other Governors and helping to support the school to provide a great environment for pupils to learn and thrive.
