Anti Bullying Ambassador Training- Diana Award

Princess Diana Award Anti-bullying Ambassador Training in Chesterfield 13th October 2016

Mr Williamson and Mrs Hewison accompanied eleven pupils to Diana Award Anti bullying Ambassador training in Chesterfield on 13th October 2016. This is the third year Buxton Junior School has accessed this high quality training for pupils and as result of this ongoing commitment we are applying to be a flagship school. Our new Ambassadors have lots of ideas and are looking forward to this new responsibility. On 16th November our Ambassadors will be visiting  Buxton Community School and having lunch with their Anti-bullying Ambassadors. This will be an opportunity to share ideas and good practice and strengthen our commitment to making Buxton Junior School an Anti-bullying school.

Princess Diana Award Anti-bullying Ambassador Training in Derby 16th June 2015

Ten pupils, two governors and two members of staff took part in Anti- bullying Ambassador Training in Derby on 16th June 2015. During the day our pupils worked with pupils from schools in Derby and Derbyshire and showed an ability to collaborate effectively, to listen and engage confidently in a range of new activities. Our pupils represented our school well and their behaviour was exemplary.

This is the second group of pupils who have accessed this high quality training and they are  keen to  support their peers and fulfil their roles to the best of their ability.
