Clubs run by children

Clubs run by children 2015- 2016:

Powerpoint Club

Reading Club

Cartoon Club

Nature Club

September 2016:

Nature Club in Class 7.

This is an interesting club where pupils learn about nature and animals. One of our year 6 pupils is a talented wild-life artist and takes a lead role in running this club. Nature Club have organised a cake sale for Year 6 pupils on 9th February 2017 to raise funds for a nest box camera.

Origami club in Class 6.

This is run by two year 5 pupils who will be teaching children how to do origami. It is a very popular club and wonderful to see older pupils supporting younger pupils.

Assemblies:

Children are also encouraged to lead assemblies. Children have led assemblies on saving endangered animals and cyberbullying. In January 2017, four Year 6 pupils presented an informative assembly on pollution and ways to look after our planet.

Making a positive contribution:

Year 6 pupils hold positions of House Captains and Sports Leaders in school.

Year 6 pupils ran stalls at our PTFA Christmas Shopping Event on 10th November 2016. Year 6 pupils also act as "buddies" for Year 3 pupils and are involved in open mornings and special events.

We are very proud of the contribution made by our Year 6 pupils.
